Why We Exist

Most recovery tools feel like they were built almost 100 years ago. They are shame heavy, preachy, or act like everything will magically get better if you "just keep coming back to meetings" or "just call your sponsor."

Real life is not that simple. It is cravings at 5pm, fights with people you love, promises you meant but did not keep, and the quiet moment where you think, "How did I end up here again?"

We built Triggr because people deserve support that actually fits how life works today. Support that is fast, honest, private, and practical.

And sometimes you need something that catches you slipping before you even realise it yourself.

No labels. No judgment. No twelve step pressure. Just tools that help you stay steady, rebuild trust, and move forward one decision at a time.

  • You are here because you have tried white knuckling it.
  • ou have tried counting days.
  • ou have tried doing it alone.
  • ou might have even sat in a meeting or two.
  • Now you are ready for something that actually fits your life, not the other way around.

About Us

I built Triggr because I have been close enough to addiction, both personally and through the people I love, to understand how complicated it really is. I have seen how good people can lose themselves, how shame gets in the way of asking for help, and how most solutions either feel outdated, overwhelming, or designed for someone else's life.

I did not want another lecture. I did not want another guilt trip. And I definitely did not want another app that did nothing but count my days sober until I inevitably reset back to zero, as if watching a number drop could magically change my behavior.

I wanted something real. Something that helps in the moments that matter. Something that catches you early, keeps you steady, and makes it easier to rebuild your life, your habits, and your relationships.

So I pulled together a team of engineers, researchers, designers, and people with lived experience to build Triggr the way it should be built. Modern, honest, practical, and human.

We are not here to replace therapy, meetings, or any other support you use. We are here to bridge the gap between the person you want to be and the moments that usually pull you off track.

This company exists because people deserve help that is actually built for today. If Triggr makes even one person's day easier, steadier, or safer, then this is all worth it.

How It Works

1

Download Triggr

Get the app, set your goals, and customise it so it actually works for your life. The AI helps, but it doesn’t boss you around.

2

Bring in your people

Connect your support crew so they can back you up when you need it. This is how you rebuild trust and stop dealing with everything alone.

3

Grow with real mentors

Follow recovery coaches, breathwork instructors, therapists, and creators who share tools that actually help you stay steady in the real world.

The right people make all the difference.

You do not need a whole entourage. You just need one or two people who care enough to check in when it matters.

Triggr lets you loop in the people you trust so they can see how you are doing, spot the warning signs, and reach out before things go sideways.

Addiction can shake relationships and trust. We built this feature to help you rebuild it faster, with honesty, transparency, and real support.

It is not about babysitting. It is about not fighting this alone.

What We Stand For

Accountability Without Shame

You do not need a lecture. You need something that keeps you grounded without making you feel awful. Triggr helps you stay accountable in a way that actually feels human.

Zero Judgment, Zero Bullshit

We do not sugarcoat recovery and we do not shame you for slipping. Triggr deals in truth, not cliches, because pretending does not help anyone.

Real Support for Real Life

Life gets chaotic, cravings hit at the worst times, and old habits do not die quietly. Triggr is built for the messy moments, not some perfect routine that nobody actually lives.

Our community includes everyday people trying to stay steady, the friends and family who care about them, and mentors who know how to support recovery in a real, practical way. Together, we are creating a place where no one has to carry this by themselves.
